I wouldn't count on R2 being out in 2008. It's slated for late 2008, and as you see, things always get delayed.
Anyway, I'm sure Sony did this as a smart move, despite considering Insomniac's loyalty, they are still an independent 3rd party company, and Sony needs to keep this exclusive.
This makes me think R2 is gonna be amazing if Sony is doing this. Insomniac said it's going to be twice as crazy. Consider that RFOM was just a launch title. Arguably the best launch title of any of the systems this generation.
